I support renewable energy, so I looked long and hard at all the solar gadgets here on Amazon, my goal was to charge my cell phone or at least not drain my car battery in doing so. This product is durable, as it’s slid off my dashboard several times without breaking. But I have no idea if it works to charge my battery. In fact, it may be draining my battery! When I plug it into my Nissan Quest it activates the Satellite, GPS & DVD players with or without sunshine. No sun makes me think they are running off and draining the car battery. I plan to keep the panel in the car for now, but it’s already annoyed my husband. Might be nice if a car had something like this built in to keep a battery charged.

  2. Doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried in repeatedly on my fully RV charged battery, and it doesn’t keep it from running down at all. If I still had the packaging I would surely return it for a refund. I hope my experience isn’t typical, but it’s all that really matters when I’ve paid for something that’s such a complete and total failure!

  3. works as advertised, keeps a charged battery full up, does not charge a dead battery, but the instructions state that, and no 1.5watt trickle charger will either, charges battery with indoor garage lighting, if this does not work for you its because you cannot read the instructions,

It does what it says and seems to work well, I will need more time with it to see if it really keeps the car’s battery charged.

Works like a charm. My car doesn’t do that weird throbbing sound whenever I start it up, as the battery is fully charged and doesn’t struggle when my car starts. Especially awesome for the winter months when batteries don’t perform well to begin with
